Silent forest

A tree hums
Dark sound

Sometimes a forest is like a fairy tale. Usually those are the rare moments when a few rays of sunlight manage to penetrate to the soft moss through a dense canopy.
I made this photo on a walk on a bright sunny day in in the forest of the nature park Lövö, Kalmar region.

Forests often have an enchanting atmosphere. The silence that is enhanced by the murmur of leaves, the dim light, a creaking branch that makes you look around where that deer is hiding...

'Silent darkness' is a new photo in the series 'Who's afraid of...', part of the gallery Untouched land.

The photos in this series have been made in March 2019 in south and south east Sweden.
