This oil painting is inspired by the famous Sydney Hobart Yacht Race every 26 of december since 45 years organized by the Cruising Yacht Club of Australia.

In 2020 the race was cancelled because of covid-19 organized by the Cruising Yacht Club of Australia.

With bold figures and colours the artist tried to transform and feel the enormous power of the sea, the wind craft and courageous men on board in an artwork.
