This painting is the final image in a series of paintings that I call: "Contemporary marriage frieze." In this series from 2015 - 2016. Here I focussed on the complexity of a modern family structure, where both husband and wife insist on both being independent and together and raise their children together under these rare circumstances.

With this painting, I wish to express the idea of a relation's end - a final dance. Either time has run out in contemporary marriage or a time out is needed. It's really very close to the theme in my painting: Times of ups and downs."
