Provenance: French private collection G.B., acquired prior to 1980. --- Condition: Intact except for some minor chips on the surface. --- Description: Ushabti of light green faience, mentioning as the owner a woman called Ipethemetes, daughter of Hathoremachet. The name Ipethemetes stands for "(the goddess) Ipet is her majesty", the name Hathoremachet for "Hathor is on the horizon". The shabti is depicted mummiform with crossed arms, in her left hand the figure holds a hoe, in its right the flail. The figure stands on a base plate, leaning on a back pillar. The details of the face are finely worked out, the ears are visible in front of the tripartite wig, the false beard is braided. On the front hieroglyphs framed by borderlines, the back pillar is without any inscription. Mounted.
