Mirror of light

Mirror of light

A few rays of sunlight

escaping into the darkness

On a nice sunny day at the end of the winter, we walk through a dense and dark pine forest in Sweden. We are approaching the edge of the forest, more and more sun rays penetrate between the branches and illuminate the forest floor. In the bright light, we vaguely see the shapes of some pine trees. Like in a mirror…

‘Mirror of light’ is a new photo in the series ‘Who’s afraid of…’, part of the gallery Untouched land and of the gallery Enchanted forests.

The photos in this series have been made in March 2019 in south and south east Sweden.

I made this photo on a walk on a bright sunny day in nature park Lövö, a peninsula on the Baltic coast in the Kalmar region.
